Founder and Co-Chairman
Jubilant Bhartia Group

Hari, together with his brother Shyam, is the Founder and Co-Chairman of Jubilant Bhartia Group (www.jubilantbhartia.com) headquartered in New Delhi, India. Valued at around US $ 6.5 Billion and with 43,000 employees globally, Jubilant Bhartia Group has a strong position in diverse sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Life Science Ingredients, Drug Discovery Services, Performance Polymers, Food Service (QSR), Automobile Retail and Consulting in Aerospace and Oilfield Services. The Group has four companies listed on Indian Stock Exchanges, namely Jubilant Pharmova Limited, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Jubilant FoodWorks Limited and Jubilant Industries Limited.

The Group, through its investments by Jubilant Pharmova, has presence in the United States and Canada, with around 2200 employees. Jubilant FoodWorks, another group company, is the master franchisee of Domino's Pizza, and is the largest operator of Domino’s network outside US.

A Chemical Engineering Graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, Hari was conferred the Distinguished Alumni award by his alma mater in 2000.

Hari is a former President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) (2010-2011) and a member of several educational, scientific and technological programs of the Government of India. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur. He is currently Chairman of Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, Chairman of CII-Jubilant Food & Agriculture Centre of Excellence and member of Principal’s Advisory Board of McGill University.

Hari is a member of several CEO’s Forums including the India-USA CEO Forum and India- France CEO Forum. He is a regular participant at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos and is a member of the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council and Community of Chairpersons. Hari is also a Founding Member of the Board of the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP), think tank based in Delhi.

Hari is a strong proponent of Corporate Social Responsibility. He, along with Shyam, established Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, whose efforts are directed towards community development with focus on Primary Education, Basic Healthcare services and Livelihood generation programs. He is also involved in ‘Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award - India’, a joint initiative of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, with an objective of recognizing promising and successful social entrepreneurs in India.
