1 Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhadarwah 24-12-2003 to 27-09-2005 Revenue related work, general administration, Law and Order, Court Work, Functioned successfully as Assistant Returning Officer in Parliamentary General Elections in 2004.
2 Additional Secretary, Power Development Department 28-09-2005 to 19-06-2006 Responsible for all the issues concerning various power projects, establishment and personnel matters of the Department, monitoring of execution of schemes like APDRP, RGGVY, PM Reconstruction Programme, Formulation of Policy concerning Micro and Mini Hydel Projects etc.
3 Additional District development Commissioner, Kathua 19-06-2006 to 12-06-2007 Monitoring of all the development works within the District through review meetings and physical monitoring, As Project Director DRDA, responsible for implementation of SGSY scheme and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
4. Deputy Commissioner, Leh. 12-06-2007 to 12-07-2008 Responsible for General Administration, Revenue related works, monitoring of all the schemes under execution in the District, formulation of Annual Plan for the District and getting it approved in the General Council meetings of LAHDC, working as Chief Executive Officer of LAHDC, formulation of new Projects for development and their follow up, monitoring of General Law & Order, successfully organizing various Tourism related events in the District, ensuring monitoring of works through Physical inspections including all the distantly located Blocks & Sub-Divisions. Responsible for ensuring near 100% expenditure of the plan funds with commensurate visibility on ground.Was responsible for managing extremely serious Law & Order situation borne out of differences between two groups of Ladakh Buddhist Association and arrived at solution based on regular talks & discussions.
5. Deputy Commissioner, Jammu 12-07-2008 to 04-08-2009 Other than the major activities as District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of District,Handled the extremely volatile situation during Amarnath Land Row in 2008 and kept an extremely close vigil on the situation and maintained close liaison with the public and security agencies.Acted as Returning Officer during successful conduct of the Parliamentary elections during 2009 and as District Election Officer for Assembly Elections during 2009. Ensured very smooth & successful elections.
6. Additional Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board 04-08-2009 to 31-10-2013 As Addl. CEO/ CEO of the Shrine Board, I was responsible for management of the Yatra.The Yatra increased from 67 lakh in 2008 to 1.05 crore in 2012.Ensured regular monitoring of all the issues concerning such a heavy pilgrimage including Accommodation, Catering Units, Medical Facilities, Queue Management, Sanitation & related issues and managed them successfully. Responsible for procurement of inventory for Yatra management and for infrastructure creation.Management of a very large work force (around 3000 employees) and all the issues concerning them.Conceptualized and executed a large number of infrastructure projects:
  1. Passenger Ropeway Projects between the Holy Shrine and Bhairon ji temple.
  2. Material Ropeway between the base camp and the Shrine.
  3. Construction of New Helipad close to the Shrine (inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India).
  4. Construction of a New Track between base camp and Adhkwari (7.4 km long).
  5. Construction of a state of the art Sports Stadium at katra (Inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister).
  6. Setting up of a Spiritual Growth Centre (inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India).
  7. Establishing a Gurukul for students.
  8. Construction of a Super Specialty Hospital Building: Personally contributed to its establishment and execution as a 230 bedded Superspeciality Hospital  and securing a Public Private partnership agreement with Narayana Hrudayalaya Pvt Ltd for its operations and maintenance (inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India).
Implemented various new initiatives like
  1. Disaster Management Plan and Disaster related training of all the employees and Stakeholders.
  2. Executed environmental friendly initiatives like:
Installation of Solar Technology based systems (Solar Water Heating systems on almost all the residential buildings in the Shrine area, Katra and Jammu)Setting up Solar Power Plant for the Shrine area.
  1. Installed first Exclusive Mule Dung based Bio Gas Plant with a capacity of 4 ton per day.
Contributed to getting the helicopter services extremely affordable for common man (Rs. 700/- per person per side).
7. Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board 01-11-2014 To 25.05.2015

  1. Framed and got launched the Free Drug Policy for the State of J&K.
  2. Imposed ban on loose cigarettes, beedis and tobacco.
  3. Made licensing of all Food Business Operators throughout the state compulsorily through online mode in order to do away with any manual interface.
  4. Undertook entire ground work for setting up of new medical colleges in the State.
  5. Responsible for making all preparatory work for establishment of two AIIMS in J&K.
  1. Contributed to improving health systems through better manpower management and resource augmentation in the health Units in the State.
  2. J&K was declared as the most improved state (Best Big State) in Health Sector at India Today’s conclave.
