Anita Venkiteswaran is the Chief Strategist of E-3 Tech LLC, an investment firm launched in 2024 by Rudy Adolf and backed by Andreessen Horowitz (“a16z”) to apply programmatic M&A and technology transformation expertise to grow traditional, essential services organizations. E3T made its first investment earlier this year in the multi-trade construction services space in Sylvan.
Anita Venkiteswaran has a varied set of experiences as an investor and operator with a demonstrated track record of growing private equity and venture capital-backed businesses over the last 15+ years. Aligned with E-3 Tech’s vision, Anita brings deep expertise in leveraging programmatic M&A, strategic partnerships and technological innovation for operational efficiencies to drive growth and long-term value creation in high-growth service industries and entrepreneurial partnership models.
Prior to E3T, she was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Growth Officer at Doppler Veterinary Network, a veterinary care platform backed by Lindsay Goldberg where she led an exciting growth and operations phase from launch to a multi-market platform and 25+ clinics/ hospitals through a combination of de novo builds and acquisitions in less than 24 months. Prior to Doppler, she held leadership roles at Focus Financial Partners and Roivant Sciences. Focus Financial Partners was founded by Rudy Adolf where Anita drove rapid expansion through acquisitions, international market entry, and new business verticals, and was instrumental in shaping the growth journey of the early Focus RIA partners. Focus went public in 2018, delivering top quartile results to public shareholders.
At Roivant Sciences, Anita played a pivotal role in driving value creation across healthcare services and technology, both domestically and internationally. Roivant went public in 2021, at a $7.3B valuation.
Anita started her career at McKinsey & Co., and then in middle-market private equity investing at Audax Private Equity.
Anita serves on the boards of multiple non-profits in New York City. She is the Vice-Chair of the board of the Alliance for Positive Change (https://alliance.nyc/) and also serves on the board of SPOP (Service Program for Older People – https://spop.org/).
She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur (Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering).
Anita enjoys traveling around the world and has been to over 100 countries, and all 7 continents. She plays tennis and as a certified advanced open water scuba diver, enjoys experiencing the world underwater around the world. She lives in New York City, and is passionate about the performing arts scene in the city.
